Update, 2/4/2012: Well, January has come and gone, and still no Season 2. Apologies to our readers! The final art for the book is taking longer than we’d expected and there’s simply no way we can continue work on Season 2 until it’s finished. I don’t want to keep making and breaking promises — so, for now, we’re on indefinite hiatus, crossing our fingers that it won’t take too much longer.
Aaaaaaaand on that note, I’m afraid we have to take a brief hiatus while we finish the art and recoloring for the Candlewick book. We hope to be back in January 2012 at the very latest. (If you sign up for our email newsletter over there on the right, we’ll let you know.) Thanks to everyone for following along with us so far — we promise, there’s much more to come!

I think some bad guys deliberately choose stupid minions to make them feel better about themselves (or at least make their schemes sound smarter).
If nothing else, Bullet’s got the coolest suit of the bunch (even if it don’t protect his head so good).
I wonder if they choose stupid minions because those are the only ones stupid enough to follow them. I’m sure Scapula inspires *legions* of followers, but there are lesser bad guys who can barely get goons to follow them to a bar, let alone into a crazy scheme.

That still cracks me up every time! The “Star Wars” haters can hate – and it probably is pretty stupid in the context of the movie – but by itself… PURE GENIUS!!
I think they may be biting off more than they can chew.

As for Bullet and his crew: man, you have NO idea! It’s not really fair to tease… but when we come back, you’ll find out exactly HOW much more they’re biting off than even they realize.
As a big fan I admit to being disappointed to hear that we will have to wait for the story to continue. But as a fellow creator I understand the need to prioritize your time on your much anticipated book. Looking forward to a quick return.
