Next Week…

The Magus Strikes!

Don’t miss the penultimate chapter of Season One!

Too Hot for Smash!

We’d hoped to post Episode 11 this week, but the Pacific Northwest is under attack by the sun! It’s too hot for Kyle to even sit in his art room and work on the coloring without losing ten pounds.

We’re aiming for next week… and praying for the thermostat to drop into the 80s where it belongs, and stay there!

Season One Episode 10

When we left our hero: Andrew’s father lay injured, his fate uncertain… a lunatic named Pulse had hijacked an armored car full of money… and a school bus full of children was flipping in mid-air!

You might think things couldn’t get a whole lot crazier for Smash!
Think again…

Hang on — there are only two more episodes until the Season One finale!

The Smash Team — Caught On Film!

(l. to r.) writer Chris A. Bolton, colorist Sarah Barrie Fenton, project manager Jamie Bolton, artist Kyle Bolton

Last weekend, the entire Smash creative team met face-to-face for the first time in Seattle! They attended a reading of Portland Noir, where Chris Bolton read part of his short story “The Red Room,” then convened for drinks and catching-up at a bar dangerously close to Qwest Field.

Afterward, the Boltons resumed work on Episode 11, the penultimate entry in Season One.

No scandalous behavior has been reported, although food items were mysteriously removed from the menu each time the server returned to their table. In addition, there are rumors of Ms. Fenton spontaneously dancing on bars and riding mechanical bulls. Our reporters in the field are searching high and low for eyewitness testimony and photographic evidence…
